Lena Lumelsky has a uniquely dark vision and this season it translates into spectacular floor-length silhouettes, harnesses, and a lot of leather. Dungeon would be the obvious reference here. But, surprisingly, the designer also looked to traditional Amish clothing for inspiration, and so you have something as chaste as a knitted turtleneck topped with a dramatic cut-out corset or a floor-sweeping wool skirt with a leather back. The effect is dramatic, a little surreal, and totally bewitching.
