New York label Confezioni Crosby is the brainchild of couple Benedetta Antonelli and Jonathan Joory. Inspired by Jonathan’s showroom of men’s workwear, Benedetta realized the potential for a range of equally practical and playful pieces for women. Tapping into a tradition of much-loved American workwear (think overalls, fisherman’s jackets, and oversized shirts), the couple blends functional shapes and hard-wearing cotton twills with delicate feminine detailing for pieces that are just as at home in the city as they are on a weekend in Montauk.

It's no surprise that Confezioni Crosby's feminine workwear has a his 'n' hers feel. The line is designed by couple Benedetta Antonelli and Jonathan Joory (just down the street from OCNY!). Benedetta set her sights on creating waxed jackets, overalls, and twill shirts for women when she first visited Jonathan's showroom of men's workwear. Collaborating with a historic US manufacturer of men's uniforms, the pair put a softer spin on all-American workwear using delicate trimmings and cotton-candy colors.
