You may already be able to tell from her expressive, wayward pieces, but New York-based designer Venessa Arizaga’s approach to jewelry-making is thoroughly organic. Drawn to both fine and found objects, she got her start collecting various seaside objects while on vacation in the Caribbean, slowly building a wide collection of marvelous, mixed-media bracelets and necklaces. Meant to help preserve good memories and inspire good times, each charm-filled piece comes with a story, but also begins a new one with its wearer.
