Two friends, Alexia Hentsch and Max von Hurter, were looking for the perfect white shirt but it was nowhere to be found. So together they founded Hentsch Man. Providing Londoners with flattering, well-made shirts since 2008, Hentsch specializes in making every detail just so. Cuts are English but never too old-fashioned, slim but never faddy, and the colors are either exactly that classic shade you’ve been looking for or a kooky one you’d never considered but now can’t go without.
Established: 2008 by Alexia Hentsch & Max Von Hurter
Alexia Hentsch and Max Von Hurter’s line Hentsch Man brings together the best of both worlds: fine, simple, no frills tailoring and quirky, well thought-out colorways and details. In fact, we love them just as much for their slim-fit, subtly detailed collared shirts as much as for their velvet espadrilles, leather weekend bag (a style they mimic from those carried by Argentinean postmen), and bright hand-crafted fedoras (made in collaboration with Parisian milliner Cerise sur le Chapeau).
