Every one of Siuyin Chau’s pieces is knitted by hand! “You can feel the love of the person who made the piece,” she says of hand-made knitwear. Ever since the designer’s grandmother taught her how to stitch (at age six!), she has been taken by the process of making something from nothing but some yarn and a pair of sticks. Siuyin’s labors of love include thick, cable-knit beanies and cowls in wool and cashmere.
