At age 16, Louise Dalton left school to begin an apprenticeship with a bespoke tailor. Growing up, Lou's influences were old-fashioned sportswear pieces—hunting jackets and tweeds—and she continues to source fabrics from some of England's oldest mills. Lou set up her own menswear line in 2005, after graduating from the Royal Academy of Arts in London and working with tailors like Charlie Allen and Hamish Morrow. Her clothes combine their fastidious attention to detail with her own brand of rebellious British cool.
