Lucio Castro’s first-ever collection was inspired by educator Fernand Deligny’s studies on teenage delinquency and the French cinema classic “The 400 Blows.” Like Truffaut’s movie, Lucio’s output is youthful, soulful, and detail-driven. The designer is committed to ethical production, sourcing organic cottons for his color-blocked polos, button-downs, and bright houndstooth knits. Playful details like coconut buttons showcase Lucio’s filmmaker’s eye (he also makes movies!) and the sophisticated touch he honed at Marc Jacobs.
