In the early 70s, Halston's partner, Victor Hugo, gave Norma Kamali a vintage silk parachute from the Korean War and asked her to make him a jumpsuit from it. She did, and since then she has made entire collections from used military parachutes. These rare pieces are now cut from ripstop nylon and ruched with adjustable drawstrings for full-throttle Norma drama.
