Acne and the Art of Seduction
Last night, press and friends of the Acne family flooded into their Greene Street store to raise their glasses for all things sultry. Eroticism is the name of the game in the latest issue of Acne Paper, and party guests rolled through to show some skin in their freshest summer wears. The polished party went hand in hand with the tone of the magazine, whose erotic twist is more subdued and sensual than overt.

In a series of interviews Acne examines eroticism through the lens of theology, anthropology, fashion, cinema, literature, Buddhism, and even scent. Amid a dedicated retrospective to what Acne has found to be "A Century of Seduction at Conde Nast" are contributions from Mario Testino, Carine Roitfeld, and the king of cling himself, Azzedine Alaia. As Editor-in-Chief Thomas Persson notes in his letter from the editor, "What awakens one person's desire is another's boredom, dislike, or even repulsion", so in the dubious case that that trio of names doesn't make you sweat, then the carefully curated photographs by the likes of Guy Bourdin and Horst P. Horst are sure to do the trick.

Check out how the Acne gang and their guests feted the latest issue.
