Angora, ankhs, and teen angst! Today, Chloë Sevigny’s fifth collection for OC launches in stores and online. Inspired by the protest movement, Chloë adopts mod-ish silhouettes for Fall/Winter 2013: peacoats, A-line skirts, and babydoll dresses come in authentic 60s fabrics like PVC and wide-wale corduroy. Channeled through her unique teen of the 90s aesthetic, the collection remixes signature Chloë motifs with timeless youthquake iconography. Gingham smock dresses come with enameled heart pins and stretch knits are patterned with cherries and Eyes of Horus!
Other pieces that will be making their way into our closets stat: faux fur berets, gingham backpacks, and vinyl platform mules (beyond!), as well as a line of printed bodysuits and tights made in collaboration with iconic bodywear brand Emilio Cavallini—all coming soon. The collection also continues Chloë's partnership with cult skate brand Vision Street Wear. So look out for an incoming drop of printed pastel sweats for guys and girls!
