Perhaps a new location for OC?
We had a chef at our house who cooked incredible food! Fresh fish, shrimp, callaloo and what! ...Yah mon homemade fries!
Fresh locally grown veggies, amazing pork and delicious rice and peas!
Every morning we had an amazing assortment of fruit, including Jamaican apples. It looks like an apple, has the texture of a pear, and tastes like a floral bouquet!
One morning we asked for eggs and sausage. What we got was a very big sausage.
On our way to the Pelican Bar, we saw a crew of dolphins. They were incredible.
The Pelican Bar is a bar in the middle of the ocean on a sandbar. When I say that it's a bunch of twigs twined together… it really is.
But they caught our lunch fresh and made us an amazing fish!
Fun times with a wig!
... and fun times on the beach.
A humbling view of the ocean and the disappearing sun.
It's kind of crazy how quickly time passes - especially in New York. Can you believe that 2010 is nearly halfway over? So, I decided to try and slow it down for a few days, live on island time, and get away to recharge my battery. I headed to Treasure Beach, Jamaica with pals Humberto, Olivia, Scott Nguyen, SuChin Pak, Carrie Imberman, Spike Jonze, Patrick Daughters, and Chloe Sevigny to soak in some fun, sun and irie times. And that's exactly what we had. Check out our trip!
