Holiday Your Way: Wendy's Grilled Turkey

The holiday season is upon us and this year it's time to HOLIDAY YOUR WAY! We asked members of the OC family to share their favorite holiday recipes. There was a snowball's chance in hell that we'd leave Wendy, Humberto's mom, out of this series! There is literally nothing Wendy can't cook and she has proved this on many, many OC occasions. She was even featured in Food & Wine magazine back in 2010! We reserved the most important bird of the holidays for Wendy, so without further ado, here is her sure-fire recipe for the perfect holiday turkey!

Ingredients:

3-4lbs turkey breast
3 sticks of lemon grass
6 cloves of garlic
2 inches of ginger 
3 tablespoons of honey
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
3 tablespoons of light soy sauce

Method:

1. Slice the turkey breast to about a 1/2-inch thickness
2. Mince the lemon grass, garlic, and ginger together
3. Mix the honey, lemon juice, Worcestershire, and soy sauce together
4. Marinate turkey breast for at least 30 minutes
5. Grill and serve
