To accompany the launch of "Fashion for Men: 1969-2012
," YOKO ONO and Opening Ceremony have printed posters and published a book of ONO's original artwork. We can't recommend the collection's limited-edition lightbulb bras or mesh-panel pants enough, but for the days when you aren't feeling quite so cheeky, these printed illustrations are a beautiful way to add some ONO magic to your life.
The book contains the sketches that inspired the collection, printed alongside lyrics from ONO's 1973 composition Anatano Te
(Your Hands), and includes a CD recording of Anatano Te
. See ONO's original illustrations of the handprint pants and two-tone jackets as well as blueprints for pieces that didn't make it into production: balloon hats, halos, and other articles of clothing so wonderful only ONO could have dreamed them up.
