When I first saw Flat Apartment's fuzzy zipper bags, I wanted a human-sized one to nap in. I did some research and sadly they don't come in XXXL. But Flat Apartment does make some amazing shoes and, weirdly, my initial instinct wasn't actually that weird. The Korean shoe and bag brand's fall collection is an exploration of the moment just before you fall asleep, a theme totally in keeping with previous inspirations: levitation (SS12), stairs (FW10), and light rays (SS11). Titled "Nidnod," the collection aims to conjure the feeling of lightheadedness and calm right before you finally peace out. How? Through softer-than-soft shearling, floating platform soles, and two-tone black and white uppers.
