Jerry's first mistake was making the puffy shirt the only focal point of his outfit. Here, we pair it with some amazing Kenzo printed pants and a patterned bag to make the puffy shirt a little more "so what?"
Don't go overkill on accessories. These sunglasses are a new take on a classic shape that doesn't overwhelm the already busy outfit. This MF necklace is delicate enough to add just a little bit of charm.

Avast ye maties! Here's one I didn't see coming––the Seinfeld puffy shirt is back with a vengeance for Fall 2012. I have a severe softspot for Seinfeld style––Jerry's white Nikes, straight leg stonewash jeans, and loose buttondown shirt are basically standard fare for guys around New York right now. And ever since our friend William Van Meter wrote his New York Times piece The New Adventures of Old Elaine discussing the resurgence of Elaine Benes' style, I've been thinking more and more about the show as a style influence.
If you recall, the white puffy shirt only led to shame for Jerry when a comedy of errors forced him to wear it during his Today Show appearance. But with a more modern take on styling, I think it's worth reassessing how to sport the top so that you don't end up looking like the Count of Montecristo (Elaine's words, not mine). Check out how I styled one of my favorite new white puffy shirts on our model Cheyenne in this week's "This Just in!"
