Yesterday marked the opening of Opening Ceremony's brand new pop-up shop in Covent Garden, London, just in time for the Olympics. The three-part evening started with an in-store shopping event, unveiling the new store, and a street party—complete with a burger ambulance called the "Meatwagon," and an ice cream truck. DJ duo Fatherhood (Physical Therapy and Michael Magnan) provided the party's soundtrack, as OC friends, both old and new, oo-ed and ah-ed over Ciroc cocktails and the many new and exclusive collections, including the first season of adidas Originals x Opening Ceremony!

The next stop was Golden Dragon in London's Chinatown, just around the corner from the store. Thanks to a delicious menu curated by Humberto's mom Wendy, guests filled up on a Chinese banquet dinner. Entertainment was provided by a mariachi band playing hits like "Rolling in the Deep" and "Freedom"; the night's MC, Jeanette; and Marawa the Amazing, the hula-hooper extraordinaire, who danced effortlessly with 100 hula hoops! 

The after party at Madame Jojo's topped off the excitement with DJ Physical Therapy playing a full set of his thick dance beats, followed by performances from Mykki Blanco and Maluca accompanied by Michael Magnan—giving Londoners a taste of downtown New York.
