Far left: Lace Top by Simone Rocha."We saw Simone's collection for the first time at her show in London last September and absolutely loved it. This was one of my favorite pieces. It's so feminine and beautiful but somehow also feels very modern." Near right: Long broderie anglaise dress by SUNO. "I loved all the broderie anglaise pieces from Suno's spring collection. In fact, I think I own everything! Strangely enough, this dress looks amazing on despite the fact that I'm really short." Left: Cut-off vintage night dress. "A friend of mine gifted this to me a long, long time ago. It's so easy to wear and really special to me."  Right: Lace dress by OC . "One of my all-time favorite OC dresses!" Kate and Weenie on the terrace! "I'm wearing  another piece from Suno's spring collection that I love." Left: Chiffon dress by Charles Anastase. "This is in my top five favorite pieces. It was from a couple of seasons back (the one I found in the sample sale!)." Right: Vintage night dress Left: Broderie anglaise dress by Suno. Right: Bilitis Dix-Sept Ans Kate in a white striped dress from OC's new pre-Fall collection. Lace dress also by OC! "This chiffon dress is by Maria Pryor. Maria is an amazing Argentine designer who our team discovered during OC's year of Argentina. I love this piece and there are so many more of her dresses I want to own." Lace tunic by Imitation of Christ. "I love Imitation of Christ. All the pieces are unique and total one-offs. To me it feels so special to own something that no one else in the world has!" Yasmin Kianfar Laser-Cut Dress. "I was attracted to this dress because it's so simple, but the laser-cutting is a really interesting effect."  White appliqué flowers by Imitation of Christ! (Available at OCNY!) Broderie anglaise by Suno "This piece by Bilitis Dix-Sept Ans is one of my favorite dresses. I love the brand also. It's a great Japanese label we started buying for Spring/Summer 2012. The pieces are really beautiful and have this naive quality to them."  Top: Olympia Le-Tan mini clutch. "I totally fell in love with this bag when I saw it in the showroom and knew I had to have it!" Below: "My Smorkin' Labbits!" "A snippet of Bearbrick collection!" Weenie!!!
Closet Collections: Kate Foley's White Dresses
We admire anyone who has a look, and whose approach to fashion is as obsessive as ours. In this new column we ask OC friends and family to let us rifle through their collections and celebrate their hoarding situations.

While some people are only ever seen out in black, Kate Foley prefers white every time. OC's blonde-haired buyer is known for her limitless supply of crisp cotton dresses, usually spotted above a pair of towering wedges. Just how many dresses does Kate own? Brayden and I stopped by her apartment in Greenpoint to make a tally and play with her cats, Weenie and Goblin.

After a mandatory cup of tea (Kate's British too), she talked us through her collection of lacey Suno shifts, vintage night dresses, and OC pieces from way back when.

White dresses are like happiness to me

I like to wear them: through summer and winter

I own 25 pieces

They look good with: everything!

My favorite piece is: my Charles Anastase long-sleeve chiffon dress, because I somehow found it in the OC sample sale before anyone else and it looks amazing!

The first piece in my collection was: a vintage white cotton nightie given to me by a friend

The weirdest place I ever found a piece was: hmmm not sure!

In a fire, I would save my cats first

When I die, I will leave my collection to: my sister

I also collect: Bearbricks and Smorkin' Labbits

I would very much like to contact Kate and show her my collection. I moved to LA from London 4 years ago. I studied in Saint Martins and then worked for Matthew Williamson, Julien Mc Donald, Sofia Kokosalaki and then Max Azria in LA. I currently consult and in the process of creating my own brand under the name Mihail Kian. I would love Kate to take a look at my work as I feel opening ceremony would be the perfect store for my collection. Even though my site will soon be reworked and improved it will still give Kate an idea of my style. It is www.mihailkian.com
Many thanks for your time reading this

Dude.
Kate Foley is seriously just too amazing.
She's gorgeous, has amazing style, works for Opening Ceremony, and seems like an awesome person.
Oh and she has 25 white dresses.
25. White dresses.
That is majorly idol status.
I love Kate Foley.
Can she be my friend/fellow white dress lover/parter in crime for white dress shopping?
She is just too wow.

Okay, I've set a few goals for myself.
Someday, I must be at least half as amazing as Kate Foley and have at least half as many white dresses as she has.
Ready, set, go.
