adidas Originals x OC Fall/Winter 2012: Men's Swim Division
Like the heroes of the professional pool, the swim-inspired pieces from adidas Originals x OC combine techinal expertise with a whole lot to look at. Athletic streetwear shapes—parkas, tanks, and tees—get the OC treatment, covered in the paisley print that has long decorated our stores and stationery. Bringing the professional know-how, adidas supplied sporting details: materials like neoprene and a water-safe stretch fabric, drawstrings, and zippered pockets. We also expanded our repertoire by making certain pieces reversible. The hooded parka and anorak are both paisley on one side, indigo on the other, while the tees and trunks combine the two in bright bandana patchworks.
And the finishing touch to our game plan: swimable shoes! Our collab footwear styles are made from airy mesh and rubber. A transparent version of OC's classic M2 dress shoe, a grown-up jelly, and a drawstring boat shoe are true water babies.
