Pineapples, waves, and hula girls! It’s our second collab collection with Reyn Spooner! RS is the original creator the Hawaiian shirt. Back in 1962, a California haberdasher named Reyn McCullough and the owner of a beachfront shirt shack set up shop together in a Honolulu basement. Developing a unique method of reverse-printing their wrinkle-free “Spooner Kloth” with everything from hibiscus flowers to hula hunnies, the buddies introduced the world to Aloha shirting. This spring, we delved into the RS archive to pick out our favorite prints, putting sailboats, surfers, and fruit salad to use on all-star OC shapes and true Waikiki Beach–style button-downs!
