Argentinean Slang Dictionary - 'Boliche'
by Maria Lee
Stuck in Argentina with nothing but a couple of "Where's the nearest restroom, please" phrases in your vocabulary? Our ARGENTINEAN SLANG BOOK is here to save your trip.

It's 10pm on a Saturday night in Buenos Aires––do you throw on your bowling shoes or your dancing shoes? El boliche is Spanish for "bowling alley" (or "bowling pin" or a "small grocery store"), but in slang it refers to none other than the club. So, now that we've saved you from the embarassment, all you need to say is gracias! (Which is non-slang for "thanks!")
