Our desks: we probably spend more time at them than anywhere else. And just like our medicine cabinets, our desks are thoroughly demonstrative of who we really are. This new series brings us closer and closer into the lives of the many friends and family of OC.

Is being VENESSA ARIZAGA, the designer of the vibrant charmed and threaded accessories that we love, all play and no work? We peered inside her workspace (which we've visited before to make bracelets for our BFFs) to find out where and how she gets the job done. From colorful Mexican woven blankets to religious figurines and beach paraphernalia, the objects and imagery that pepper her studio visibly inform the whimsy and mystique of her pieces. Take a look!

Where is your desk? The whole studio is my desk!

Describe the average day in the office, at your desk. I'm working on developing new designs, billing, shipping... I'm a jack-of-all-trades. I always keep my hands full.

Do you have any peculiar or extra-special desk object? Every time I need guidance, I look at my miniature Virgin Mary.

Pen or pencil? A fine-tipped point pen.

What's the one item you’re constantly looking for but can never find? My lookbooks––wait! Where's my phone?

Do you have an emergency snack drawer? Yes, and it contains Nutella.
