“Modern love” is a bit of an overused term. So ubiquitous, in fact, that its exact meaning has become hazy. Spike Jonze’s new short film, “I’m Here”, can perhaps be the saving grace to re-define the arguably vacant phrase. The 30-minute short is not your average love story, but the love story of two robots. Not only modern in theme but production alike, we adore the film so much that it inspired us to work with Spike yet again. Our latest window display at our Howard Street store is designed by Meryl Smith, who not only created the installation but also the props for the film. The robots, costumes, and props at OC are the exact ones from the film – and are well worth a stop by our store to check them out!
