Five years ago, Peter Sutherland and Duncan Hamilton started a curating project, publishing the work of some of their favorite artists. They planned to go up to ten issues and called the series Decathlon, referring to the ancient Greek athletic competition made up of ten track and field events. Mark Gonzales did the first one, titled Emportant News, and Jack Greer and Maggie Lee wrapped up the series with Jam. Issues in between included publications by Todd Jordan, Estelle Hanania, Misha Hollenbach, and Tony Cox. On Friday, Peter and Duncan celebrated the project with a party at Printed Matter. Check out the snaps from the evening and see below for titles available for purchase at OCNY.
