We are pleased to present the first in a series of three films by French video collective AB/CD/CD for the OC Spring/Summer 2012 collection: Pourquoi Est-Ce Que Tu M'Méprises? Directors Arnaud Boutin, Clement Dozier, and Camille Dauteuille came to us with the idea for short clips inspired by the absurdity of old movies that used dummies instead of stunt doubles. AB/CD/CD loved the moments when the clumsiness of the special effects appeared. Armed with a large dummy, the trio took on classic scenes from Godard films, reinvented with more than a little slapstick humor. In Part One, Manuel Vallade and Zoë Le Ber star in a scene taken from Le Mépris.
