Season after season, Proenza Schouler's Jack and Lazaro effortlessly prove they've got their cool girl down to a T, and their FW12 runway show was no exception. In the first looks they threw down, she was street and don't mess in boxy oversized pieces, while also being sweet and whimsical in a milk-and-ivory palette. As the collection progressed, it became clear that the boxy silhouette is where it's at next season––but not without the classic Proenza girl also present, by way of the label's signature fabrics (jacquard, woven leather, and brocade) and colors (white, crimson, cobalt, and black). The pop of robin's egg blue was as surprising, fresh, and exhilarating as the embroidered Asian motifs that closed the show with a killer cosmopolitan-downtown-New Yorker edge. Here are our favorite looks from the collection.
