Like everything Norma Kamali does, the cut-out models at her presentation this morning were larger than life. A forest of spindly-legged giants, including OC-favorite Hyoni, towered above spectators in oversized-houndstooth dresses, swathes of bejeweled jersey, and skin-tight 80s-inspired sportswear embroidered with empowering statements straight from the guru herself.

Topped with flame-red turbans, Minnie Mouse head bows, and luxe striped furs, the looks ranged from playfully grown-up—grounded with full A-line skirts—to super sexy (like a dangerous black dress with cut-outs running from ankle to arm). Also on show, the new Kamali Kulture collection launched today, offering classic Norma shapes designed for everyday dressing and spending allowances. A video backdrop of sashaying models miming karaoke and doing the Macarena only made us love her more.
