Tucked behind the Walker Evans Polaroid Project at Andrea Rosen gallery is a small room, where Britney Spears meets Lisa Frank meets Harmony Korine in Michael Saint John's In the Studio Twenty Eleven. The artist's acute awareness of high and low culture comes across in his collection of schitzophrenic collages, which capture contemporaneity with references spanning from Basquiat to the Biebs. The works sum up the year 2011 in a chaotic and engaging visual representation of the finest pop culture jabber.
