To celebrate Argentina, OC's featured country this year, we'll be blogging about Argentinean goodies and goings-on, here and abroad. Keep an eye out for what's to come!

After discussing Argentinean wines with Jeffrey Steingarten prior to his Fashion's night out appearance, I have since jumped at every opportunity to try our featured country's wine. So when Sofia and I were invited to a Night of Tango and Vino, hosted by Argentinean Ambassador Jose Luis Perez-Gabilondo, we knew we were in for something a world away from our usual Tuesday nights (#padthaiandnetflix).

Endless glasses of rich Malbec and crisp Torrentes were accompanied by Tango musician luminary, Rodolfo Mederos. Impressive too were the tango dancers, whose meteoric footwork, even without the numerous glasses of wine, were near impossible to keep up with!
