Why it's so great: This is a personal collage recounting an adventure through the southwest. Pamela and Jordan capture the beauty of the journey with intricate details of the lost souls in New Mexico. The photos of grave sites remind me of the Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead), and the values and traditions that it celebrates. There are pictures of altars, rosaries, candles and bits of notes left behind. Pamela and Jordan pay their respects to the dead in this book.
Collaged along with photos are bits of maps and romantic diary entries of old lovers. I think that much of Pamela's inspiration for her jewelry collection sprung from this magical trip. Let the dead be honored and never forgotten. Viva La Pamela Love y John Sullivan.
