Chains, smoke, and revolution have replaced Peter Pilotto's familiar language of flowers and sea foam for fall. The duo's trademark twisted silks come in striking chain prints and powerful shades of poster paint red. Block prints dissolve into dark, smoky backgrounds, and everything is in motion—it's the wave of change!

Peter, and partner Christopher de Vos, looked to the art and architecture of Russian Constructivism for a darker mood. Where nature has dominated in seasons past, in the designers' new era, technology and steel have seized the reigns of power. Swathed fabrics and and telescoping patterns keep the pieces feminine but there is a new dynamic at work, less botanical and more Bolshevik!
