From Trainspotting to tartan, OC's fall menswear collection is chest-deep in Celtic heritage. At its heart are the thick wools and intricate patterns of Fair Isle sweaters and highland plaids. Cable knit weaves across pullovers, cardigans and button down vests, following the complex stitching of Aran jumpers. Knitted by Irish fishermen's wives, legend has it that each pattern holds its own mystical significance, so naturally we wanted to make our own (and take it to the next level). Our unique OC cable comes unraveled over thick wool pieces in jacquard prints that morph into the twists of Celtic knots. If that doesn't sound trippy enough, elsewhere things take a darker turn towards the mohair and grunge of Irvine Welsh's heroin chic, with thick rib knits and smudgy marles.
Watch this space as we roll out more pieces from the OC woolen mills—don't miss our signature clan tartan and OC crest in luxe merino. Plus, see them in action in our new fall lookbook (shot by Gia Coppola!).
