It was a gorgeous 60 degree day in New York, but Miami beckons... Peace out NY!...

... and hola to Miami.

On the Venetian Causeway en route to the Standard.

First stop: THE POOL, duh!

Where I ran into Genevieve and Lyle. Hi guys!

On the way to the Interview Party, I spotted the new Herzog and de Meuron parking garage at
1111 Lincoln. The architecture here is blowing me away!

Checking up on Alex at Garty HQ before the Interview Party at the Mondrian.

A view of the Mondrian.

Ran into Leo and Mike, the self-described "pasty white guys" of Miami Beach.

My girl Pene on the new Interview Magazine.
Nils Bech performed to a hushed crowd. He sang "Landslide" by Fleetwood and "Private Dancer" by Tina Turner--two of my all time faves! Check out the video
here.

Ran into Ryan who has a booth with painter Stanley Whitely at
Team Gallery... go check it out at booth H-13 if you're in town!

These two trouble-makers were there too (Terence and husband Garrick). Terence told me he reverts from his white wardrobe to all black while in Miami. Good looks.

Purple Magazine's Olivier Zahm was present and accounted for.

Dylan and Houston were taking it all in.

Piper and I were starving so we popped over to 8 Oz. Burger at Alton Rd. and 11th St., a recommendation from a bell boy at the Mondrian. Delicious & highly recommended.

The best part... fry sauce comes pre-mixed!

After dinner, we cabbed over to STAGES (
check the post here for more!).

Back to the Standard for a quick rest. Sick of cabs. Luckily, Johnny rented a scooter!
