Trapeze artist, filmmaker and founder of the Citizens Band (the Weimar-esque cabaret theatre troupe that counts Karen Elson among its members), Sarah Sophie Flicker is without a doubt up there with the coolest moms around. What are your kids' names?
Arrow Marie is our girl and Wilder Stauning is our boy. In every class I was one of at least three Sarahs and now I work with two other Sarahs. Of course I had to go for the unique names that NO ONE else would have, at least in their class! Arrow is the name of a little girl I love in L.A. "Me and My Arrow" is also a great song. Wilder just sort of morphed from two names my husband and I liked. My husband wanted to name him "Wildman", but that seems a little too much of a burden for a mellow little guy to live with!

What were Arrow and Wilder's first word(s)?
Arrow's first word was "Hi." Wilder just started saying "Arrow" a few weeks ago, which, of course, makes his sister very happy!

Describe your ideal Saturday with Arrow or Wilder.
Arrow and I really like to go to trapeze class on Saturdays with my amazing teacher Amanda Topaz. Arrow is annoyingly good, she's doing things that took me years to do! She's also much braver than I am. Otherwise, we love the most to be in nature, swimming, cooking, playing, tobogganing, whatever it may be, as long as we are doing it together!

What are your OC KIDS picks?
I'm a sucker for anything French. Unfortunately, what I like doesn't matter. Arrow is exceptionally single minded and will have to make her own picks! She chose the Repetto Gold ballet slippers and the Opening Ceremony by A for Apple Jersey Godet striped skirt. For Wilder, I love the Bonbon onesies, they are so soft! And he will still wear whatever I stick him in, thank goodness!
