Yesterday at the Baryshnikov Art Center, Acne's Jonny Johansson showed the Spring/Summer 2012 Resort collection in the label's very first presentation in New York. The urban collection translates perfectly into the wardrobes of New York’s downtown girls. A mix of David Hockney’s hues and the air of Alfred Hitchcock’s moody screen star, the lady-like silhouettes have a tinge of iciness, with an edge seen on the fringes. Sounds like they're made for a true New Yorker to us.
