Girls go to get their hair done at their hairdressers. I went to Pierre Michel for my hair and Sephora for makeup styling. This is me after getting done-up in my Levi's for Opening Ceremony onesie skirt dress.

Paris, our former intern and baker extraordinaire, picked out her prom dress the other day at OC. Here, Paris gives us a taste of what pre-prom is all about!
Over the weekend, I went to prom! It was so much fun and so exciting! I feel like going to prom in the city isn't that much different than going to prom in the suburbs, although I have no idea at all what it is like in there. From what I believe, prom there is usually held at the high school itself. In the city, very few proms take place at schools. Instead, they are held in ceremonial spaces and restaurants.
Usually, the boy buys the corsage for the girl, and the girl buys the boutonnière for the boy. Sometimes the dates go buy them together so that they match. I didn't do that, but Axel and I decided to get each other dark purple.
For pre-prom, most people gather at some house. They talk and eat a little bit, and then -- it's photo time! At Packer, most kids go to the Brooklyn Heights promenade for outdoor photos, but some people take photos where they had pre-prom, like I did. Prom itself is held for a few hours. Ours was at the Grand Prospect Hall. There, we danced, ate and had a lot of fun! Once it's over, kids board party buses to either the Hamptons or their country houses for their after-prom celebrations!
