Behind the Scenes: Where Troubles Melt Like Lemon Drops
Our multimedia intern Laura fills us in on the behind the scenes of "Where Troubles Melt Like Lemon Drops."
A few weeks ago, the cast and crew of 'Where Troubles Melt Like Lemon Drops' woke up early to shoot OC's first-ever multimedia editorial. It was a busy day, but can you think of a place to work that's cooler than The Standard?
We were super lucky. There was a lot of sun, and the day views from Le Bain, where we set up, were simply amazing. It was really fun seeing this New York nightspot by day -- completely empty, silent and sunny. Before we got started, Daria, Enid and Dusty spread out all of the clothes, accessories and Proenza bags. And once Rory put on the music, Claire and Zippy got to work!
My main job was to assist William, the photographer, and it was very physical -- have you ever tried to create wind with a piece of cardboard? It's rather exhausting. I also ran a lot, and I must say -- I quite improved my organizational skills. I took some cool photos -- check them out!
