The Kimono at Frankies Spuntino: whiskey, grapefruit, and ginger honey syrup
The Madam's Nashi at Madam Geneva: Bombay Sapphire and simple syrup. You mix in the pear and ginger compote (in the spoon) before you drink!
The Bergamot Martini at DANIEL: Bergamot juice, simply syrup, bergamot compound Amoretti and pear vodka served in an ice balloon!

LUCKYRICE, Lucky Us: Carol and Humberto Host Opening Cocktails
Last night at The Bowery Hotel, Carol and Humberto hosted Opening Cocktails, an evening of Asian-infused drinks artfully concocted by the city's best mixologists.
Never have we seen Asian flavors like ginger, lychee, yazu juice and shiso put to a better use. Some of the OC team's favorites included: the Shades of Jade at WD-50 (made with their own shiso-infused tequila, which tasted like watermelon!); the Shinkansen by The Bowery Hotel (a zesty mix of jalapeño-infused tequila and agave with a lovely shiso garnish); and Má Pêche's Ay Hue (it had shallot-infused vodka and Sriracha!!).
The Summit Bar's Two Thai-Mer and Fatty 'Cue's La Va Jay Jay won for Best Name. Most Beautiful (if you can say that about a drink?) went to the DANIEL Bergamot Martini, served in a balloon made of ice!
Best of all, a slew of OC friends dropped by to sample and sip with us. Check out the pics!
