Dr. ZIzmor's face would have had anything but Beautiful Clear Skin back in Keith Haring's day. Pre-Giuliani, the MTA was a canvas for graffiti artists, who would scribble all over the subway cars, inside and out. With his trademark "Radiant Baby," Haring got pretty huge, pretty fast. By the mid-80s, he had forged tight friendships with Basquiat, Andy Warhol, Kenny Scharf and Madonna (whose jacket he designed for her "Like A Virgin" performance on the 80s TV series Solid Gold). Oh and he also painted Grace Jones' amazing bod for her "I'm Not Perfect" video. But no big deal. Haring passed away in 1990 from AIDS-related complications.
