Whether or not you believe that he was the first performer to ever stage dive, there's no denying that Iggy Pop had a lust for life.  His high-energy, shirtless and drug-fueled antics both onstage and off certainly seared the rock icon (or his torso, at least) into people's minds. Nicknamed "Iggy" after his high school band, The Iguanas, in which he played the drums, the rocker with a whole lotta raw power is best known for fronting The Stooges, objectively one of the greatest punk bands of all time. And while we're in what's-in-a-name mode, could the "Pop" possibly be attributed to his, er, ebullient personality? Happy birthday, Iggy! "I'm Bored" had best not be your anthem tonight.
