OC ♥ Lane Crawford: Model Behavior
While in Hong Kong and Beijing celebrating the OPENING CEREMONY FOR LANE CRAWFORD pop-ups (which close shop on Monday!), we got the chance to hang out with some majorly stunning Chinese supermodels. Check out our Q&A with Godfrey Tsao, Du Juan and Liu Wen below, and see what they've got to say on R. Kelly, Chinese comfort food, and everything in between!

What's the coolest thing about Beijing, Hong Kong or China?
GODFREY:
For China, its architecture and the Peking Duck, of course! For Hong Kong, it would have to be its sky scrapers, international community, and history of martial arts and kung fu.
DU JUAN: Living and working in Beijing, you get to meet some of the world’s finest people. It’s full of opportunity and is challenging.
LIU WEN: I think the coolest part about Beijing is the architecture. The whole city is a great mix of both ancient and modern buildings, so it's always beautiful. For Hong Kong, it's a true food lover’s paradise, and all the great small shops give the city such a character.

What's the best part about your job?
GODFREY: I get to travel all over the world and meet all kinds of people of different backgrounds and cultures.
DU JUAN: Working with the best team and traveling around the world.

LIU WEN: Definitely all the traveling and being able to learn about so many different cultures. It's also always such an honor to work with the best people in the fashion industry, whether they are designers, stylists, photographers, or other models. They all keep me constantly energized and feeling young!

What's on repeat on your iPod right now?
GODFREY: R. Kelly's Love Letter, which brings back the taste of Michael Jackson, and the good old sounds of R&B and old-school love songs.
LIU WEN: Adele.

What's your favorite spot in HK?
GODFREY: The harbor at sunset, and taking the ferry to the other side.
DU JUAN: Hong Kong’s Victoria Peak. I also love the Lin Heung Tea House in Lan Kwai Fong, where they have incredible Pu’er tea and dim sum--it's the authentic Hong Kong experience.
LIU WEN: Victoria Bay. It's especially stunning in the evening.

What do you miss the most about China when you're away?
GODFREY: The variety of food that's available in HK.
DU JUAN: Family, friends, mom’s soup... And Ms. Mimi, my cat!
LIU WEN: My family for sure. They are the most important people in my life, and being far away from them can be difficult. I also miss the food, because it's hard to find authentic Chinese food overseas.

Where do you find Chinese comfort food when you're away from home?
GODFREY: Chinese comfort food would still have to be in Vancouver, where my family would make it daily.
DU JUAN: Golden Century Seafood Restaurant in Sydney and Congee Village in New York.

How do you spend your Sunday afternoon?
DU JUAN: At home with a hot cup of Tie Guanyin tea and a nice movie.
GODFREY: Going for a nice drive to the north point of Taiwan and teeing off at the golf course, where there's a beautiful ocean view. Then, I'll hang out with a few close friends and have a nice meal at the club house after the game.
LIU WEN: Packing my luggage for my next trip to wherever!
