From the stunning patterns to the rich autumn palette, there was a lot to love at the Proenza Schouler show last night. Jack and Lazaro took it to the next level wth a tightly edited, awe-inducing collection that told a real story. Loose silk shirts belted with skirts were half untucked in the back, which said a lot about the Proenza girl, who likes her luxe slightly disheveled. Monochromatic geometric necklaces and simple strappy sandals, along with those slim leather belts, tied the looks together. The show segued from both patterned and minimalist daywear into a series of cut velvet evening looks. The jewel-colored velvet devore dresses brought to mind 90s Martine Sitbon, updated for the here and now. An inspiring and uplifting close to New York fashion week.
i dont understand why none of these blog posts have used real camera to take photos. these pics must be taken with blackberry or something bc they're all so fuzzy. its very hard to make out 90 percent of the photos on here. makes me feel like my contacts are dry or something. it's ridiculous considering how many photos are just bad bc of bad photography. does oc not own a camera?
