The XX and friends
Last night saw the first ever Acne men's runway show in Paris on the Boulevard de la Bastille. A very jovial crowd with a Swedish twist enjoyed the musical stylings of Abba, champagne on ice, and delicacies from the Sarl King Hot Dog stand--not so bad after a busy day of showroom appointments and shows. Guests included cool Parisian kids, tons of Swedes, the usual fashion suspects (including Olivier Z. from Purple Mag and friend-crush worthy Diane Pernet), and everyone in between.
As for the show itself? Elevated everyday wear like souvenir sweatshirts mixed perfectly with casual baseball caps, classic Acne chinos in pop colors, and more formal elongated topcoats--basically an absolutely perfect uniform for the young urbanite to don come next September. We can't wait!!
