You may already be able to tell from her whimsical, colorfully clustered pieces, but Venessa Arizaga’s approach to jewelry-making is genuinely organic. Seeing as much value in fine objects as in found ones, the New York-based designer began her venture into accessories by collecting various seaside ephemera while on vacation in the Caribbean, which steadily led to the marvelous collection of mixed-media bracelets and necklaces we see now. Infused with the power to both recall good memories and inspire future frivolousness, each charismatic piece comes with a story, but also begins a new one with its wearer.
