Tron Legacy Opening Ceremony: It's in the Details
For those who haven’t yet or geographically can’t come into the Howard Street store to check out the Tron Legacy Opening Ceremony collaboration, we thought we’d give you a little more of an insight to the collection’s modern genius. Sure it looks flawless, thanks to its clever cuts and effervescent color palette, but what is it exactly that gives the shapes such form and the details such precision?

The Moto, Racer and Funnel Neck Bomber jackets achieve their cyber sexy look thanks to the wonderful world of Neoprene. Black sponge measuring .3mm thick is faced with two different colors; one being the pop color (the orange, yellow or blue) and the other black, so that when the fabric is cut on the raw it exposes the interior layers.

Another feature detail appears on the Laser Cut Skirt and Laser Cut Dress, where the nylon based fabric is cut with a single hair-thin laser beam, which burns the edges of the design so that it doesn’t fray. While this process is incredibly time consuming, I think we can all agree that the result is subtly striking. Couple these wild fabrics with an array of cord, wool rubber and cotton and you have yourself one special collection.

Shop the entire collection now: men's and women's.
