It's hard to improve on a company that holds royal warrants from Queen Elizabeth II, The Duke of Edinburgh, and The Prince of Wales, but Barbour's collaboration with Japanese designer Tokihito Yoshida has managed to do the unthinkable. Prior to starting his own brand, To Ki To, Tokihito designed for companies like Mens Bigi, Harolds Gear, and Blades Savile Row to name a few. The Beacon Brand Collection includes a waxed trench coat and bicycle, hrorse riding and driving jackets, and is inspired by Barbours extensive archive that dates back to 1908. Tokihito updated the classic styles with clever details that focus on utility and have a more streamline design.
The collection is exclusive to Opening Ceremony in the US, and just hit stores today. Check back this week to shop the collection online!
These are Barbour's great looking designs! I'm looking forward to buying a few. I used to sell Barbour clothing (at a very good sporting/fishing/quality-clothing store), and these jackets are superior. Great work!
