The frenetic grit and grime of New York in contrast with the romantic history of Paris is an inevitable comparison. From cafes on the rue de turenne to Starbucks in the West Village, everyone seems to have an opinion on the matter. Graphic designer Vahram Muratyan tapped into this conversation with his adorable new series, 'Paris vs. NYC,' featured on the eponymous blog. We let out a collective "oh la la," since this is something we've been thinking about ever since we launched our "USA vs. France" collaboration year. So we contacted Vahram to create a special fashion-themed image to premiere on our blog (Sonia vs. Anna), along with a selection of his other comparisons.

Vahram Muratyan and Elodie Chaillous are cofounders of Viiiiz, an art direction and graphic design studio in Paris. They have published several visual concept books in France.
