There was a haze of humidity in the air at the refreshingly bright Band of Outsiders presentation. Scott Sternberg's mise-en-scenes are always fully sensory experiences, with each element perfectly curated. Spring/summer 2011 was no different, with mini lightboxes set up around the gallery (our interview with the set designer will be up later today!). Riviera parasols, tropical lands, 40s G.I. Joes, ping pong tables: the Band of Outsiders universe has it all. And now there is a new line - 'Girl'-which blends the precision that Band is known for with a more traditionally feminine sensibility. Ethereal white pieces for women were particular standouts. Men's classics were appropriately adorable as always. The men's casting was particularly scrumptious, as you'll see from our photos. A fresh, snappy glimpse into next summer!
