A good day for me starts with brunch at Ladurée on rue St. Bonaparte, my favorite spot in the world. It's right near Serge Gainsbourg's house, which I love to stroll by. I'm hurrying up 'cause the fantastic guys of Is Tropical are waiting for me at the boutique--Is Tropical is the new sensational band signed to Kitsuné. In the meantime, we are receiving samples of the bag we are designing with Yoshida Porter, for their 75th anniversary. The afternoon is really creative and recreational. André is at Boutique Kitsuné Parisien, laughing at some joke of mine. He is making a face on the picture and he might not like it, but he is always great in pictures usually, so that's my revenge. We get to the Kitsuné office to work on the underwear we are doing together with André. André is of course checking if it is fitting well. Our close friend Olympia makes a beautiful fox for Kitsuné--made by hand and heart. Walking down to my next meeting with Julie, the beautiful founder and designer of Flouzen, I pass by a vintage pipe store in the Palais Royal and then by a great Parisian bench cemetery. Julie makes cashmere ties - we made some special college ties with her for our Fall/Winter 2011 Ivy League collection.
