Coming Soon: Dr. Martens for Opening Ceremony Fall/Winter 2010
If you own a pair of Dr. Martens Darcies, you may remember how they flew out the door with hotcake-like speed when we first launched them in Fall 2008. Inspired by your love (and ours!) for the tried and true boot, we couldn't resist putting an OC twist on both the Darcie and the Lily--a brand new sandal style--for an exclusive Fall/Winter Dr. Martens for Opening Ceremony collection!
Presented in rich, animal-printed pony-hair, the Darcie and the Lily come in three whimsical patterns: monstruto, black topos, and white topos. (Since its name is admittedly misleading, we wanted to let you know that our pony-hair is 100% Italian cowhide leather with the hair left on--definitely no ponies involved!) And if clean and cool is more you, don't worry: you'll certainly be at home with the pebbled black leather versions we made.
The Fall/Winter Dr. Martens for Opening Ceremony collection officially arrives at Opening Ceremony stores and online this Thursday, July 29th, 2010. (Yeah, we can't wait either.)
In the meantime, check out very OC-approved gals Chloë Sevigny and Natasa V. in their classic pairs!
